Rich, simple and deeply nourishing, our Frankincense Tallow Balm is made for skin that needs a little more.

Grass fed and finished tallow and pastured lard create the deeply moisturizing base, blended with Frankincense resin-infused castor oil, jojoba oil and sugarcane squalane to soften, condition and help protect dry skin.

We infuse Frankincense resin directly into the castor oil, then finish the balm with Benzoin resin and Boswellia carterii Frankincense essential oil. The result is a warm, earthy, resinous balm with the naturally distinctive scent of Frankincense and a whisper of vanilla. The instant reaction to this balm is OH! Everytime :)

Why it doesn't smell meaty or fatty
The tallow and lard are sourced from grass-fed and finished cattle and pastured heritage pigs raised on a neighboring regenerative farm. Both are slow-rendered at low heat, then filtered multiple times to remove impurities and any off odors before anything else is added. That clean, neutral base is what makes the warm resinous scent of the Frankincense the only thing you notice.

The texture is rich but melts readily with the warmth of your skin. A little goes a long way—massage a small amount into clean skin anywhere you need extra moisture and protection.
