Why it doesn't smell meaty or fatty
That comes down to how we render. We source grass-fed and finished tallow and pastured heritage lard from a neighboring regenerative farm. The fat is slow-rendered at low heat, then filtered multiple times to remove impurities and the odor compounds responsible for that meaty smell. What remains is a clean, nearly neutral base — warm and familiar, nothing more. Vanilla-infused castor rounds it out with a quiet, skin-close scent.

Full ingredients: Grass-fed and finished tallow. pastured heritage lard, calendula and chamomile infused organic jojoba, vanilla bean infused castor and sugarcane squalane.
