• Good For: All skin types. Especially dry, sensitive, or reactive skin that's tired of being let down by conventional moisturizers.

Why Our Tallow Balm Works

Our Whipped Tallow Balm starts with the highest-grade grass-fed beef suet, hand-rendered by Plain Jane’s maker using the same method perfected in 1966. We call it a Butcher’s Render, the cleanest render there is, yielding true cosmetic-grade tallow prized for barrier repair, resilience, and lasting moisture.

We whip it with organic jojoba oil for added softness and skin compatibility, then finish with marshmallow root for quick absorption and a smooth, velvety, matte finish.

No shine. No nonsense. Just real moisture, slow made, meant for everyday use.

How to Use

The Simple Way

Start with clean, damp skin. Scoop a small amount and warm it between your hands until it softens, then rub it in where your skin needs it most. A little goes a long way.

Use it after bathing, before bed, or anytime your skin feels dry or tight. It soaks in best when your skin is warm and will leave it soft without feeling greasy.
